JTHJ's last song that Yash Chopra had to shoot in Switzerland cancelled

.

Filmmaker Yash Chopra, who passed away on October 21, had finished shooting his last directorial venture Jab Tak Hai Jaan, except for a song. The song was to be shot in Switzerland, a country whose scenic beauty has been the backdrop of so many of Chopra's films.

It was postponed due to his illness. He was slated to travel to Switzerland this month, when dengue fever forced him to get admitted to a hospital  on October 13.

But now following the demise of Yash Chopra on Sunday evening , it has now been reported that the song won't be shot at all.

Earlier, there were reports that either Aditya Chopra will shoot the song or it will not be shot.

Yash Chopra's son Aditya Chopra was overseeing the romantic portions of the film, and would've accompanied his father to Switzerland where he wanted to can the song, but under these circumstances, adding anything to the film could be tampering with his vision, reports said.

This last song of the movie was supposed to be shot in his signature style in the Swiss Alps.

Designer Manish Malhotra had posted a tweet about the song on Monday.

"We were to go to the Swiss Alps to shoot a song with Katrina (Kaif) in chiffon saris. He discussed the saris with passion and used to tell me that 'I want you to be there at the shoot'," tweeted Malhotra.

The movie, which will release on Diwali Nov 13, features Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina and Anushka Sharma in key roles.
